Road Construction Alert!

The North Avenue road project in Cortland is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 22, 2026, weather permitting.  While work will be taking place on sections of North Avenue and Maple Park Road, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.  The work is expected to take four (4) weeks.  The work involves milling and overlay with a total length of 1.25 miles of road.  As of Tuesday, September 29 all paving and striping were completed.  Public works staff will be shouldering the areas as weather permits.
